After an absence from the first couple of rounds of the 2024 Supercars season, 2023 Championship Winner Brodie Kostecki returned to full time racing duties with Erebus Motorsport in New Zealand.  At the following Perth SuperSprint round, Erebus unveiled a nostalgic throwback livery for Kostecki inspired by the team's race cars from a decade ago, the Mercedes E63 livery of 2014 which was one of team owner Betty Klimenko’s favourite liveries. The incredible Tron inspired black livery with blue striping certainly pulled off the vibe, but it was the addition of the giant number 1 on the doors and bonnet of the Camaro which really made an impact, added to the car to acknowledge Kostecki as the reigning Supercars champion.
